Many of our clients are Senior Citizens.  The National Council for Aging Care is dedicated to helping communities across the country educate seniors and those who care for them.  The facts behind Senior Hunger are found here.  This article addresses some of the causes, complications, and cures for senior food insecurity.

The Board of Directors of Samaritan House includes representatives from each of the churches involved.  They meet quarterly and as needed.

Steven Fior, the executive director, oversees the daily operation of Samaritan House.  He is on call to receive donations from individuals and area stores. He manages the reports to Harvest Hope and the many volunteers who are needed to staff the operation.
